Dr Jenny Ahn

Dr Jenny Ahn is a compassionate and enthusiastic dentist with a strong interest in Preventive Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Cosmetic Dentistry. Jenny was born in South Korea and moved to Queensland in 2011, where she began to adapt to life in a new country and culture. Growing up, she always had a deep interest in health and a strong desire to help others, which naturally steered her towards a career in the healthcare field.

Inspired by her older brother, who is now a doctor, she knew she wanted to follow a similar path in the medical profession. However, she was also keen to carve her own unique path, and that’s when she discovered her passion for dentistry. The opportunity to blend her interest in healthcare with the art and precision involved in dental work immediately appealed to her. She was drawn to the idea of not only improving patients’ health but also boosting their confidence through their smiles.

After completing her Bachelor of Dental Health Science and Master of Dentistry at Griffith University, Jenny was honoured with the Griffith Award for Academic Excellence. She was also selected as one of the top 50 students for the Australian Dental Graduates Mini Residency Program, highlighting her commitment to ongoing professional development.

Driven by a genuine desire to make a positive impact, Jenny focuses on creating a relaxed, supportive environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for. She believes that dentistry is not just about treating the teeth but understanding the whole person. By taking the time to listen to her patients’ concerns, fears, and treatment goals, Jenny builds strong, trusting relationships that help foster long-term dental health. Her compassionate approach ensures that each patient’s experience is not only comfortable but also rewarding.

Fluent in both English and Korean, Jenny enjoys connecting with a diverse range of patients and offering personalised care that meets their unique needs. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys discovering new music and adding to her playlist, with a particular love for K-POP. She also enjoys seeking out hidden gems in the local food scene – whether it’s a cozy new cafe or a restaurant serving up unique flavours. For her, dining is not just about the food, but about the experience and the joy of discovering something new!
